John MicklethwaitJohn Micklethwait is the Editor-in-Chief of The Economist. After studying history at Magdalen College, Oxford, he worked as a banker at Chase Manhattan between 1985 and 1987 before joining The Economist as a finance correspondent in 1987. His previous roles at The Economist included being the newspaper's Business editor and United States editor. The Economist now has a weekly print circulation of 1.6 million worldwide, with 100,000 digital subscribers.

Mr. Micklethwait has appeared on radio and television around the world, and co-authored with Adrian Wooldridge, also an Economist journalist, six books: "The Witch Doctors", "A Future Perfect", "The Company", "The Right Nation" and "God is Back" and the most recent: "The Fourth Revolution: The Global Race to Reinvent the State" (May 2014). He was named Editors' Editor by the British Society of Magazine Editors in 2010. He is a trustee of the British Museum.

HABA, Hellenic American Association for Professionals in Finance, is one of the premier Hellenic American organizations in the New York metropolitan area. HABA is a not-for-profit organization established in 1982 to promote the professional and educational interests of Hellenic Americans, Hellenes and Phihellenes in the banking and financial services industries. Its current active membership consists of approximately 250 professionals representing dozens of institutions across the financial services spectrum.
